Changing the default image quality

 

To change the default image quality for PDF items

Using PaperPort Options, you can change the default image quality for files that are created when you print an item as a PDF file.

  1. Click on the PaperPort button, choose PaperPort options Changing the default image quality Options, and then click the Advanced tab.

  2. In the Advanced tab, select the image quality you want to use.

  3. Click OK.

To change the default image quality for PaperPort Image items

Using PaperPort Options, you can change the default image quality for items created when you save, print, or capture web pages as PaperPort Image (.max) items.

  1. Click on the PaperPort button, choose PaperPort options Changing the default image quality Options, and then click the Advanced tab.

  2. In the Advanced tab, select the image quality you want to use.

  3. Click OK.

To change the default image quality for Print to PaperPort

Using PaperPort Options, you can change the default image quality for PaperPort Image (.max) files and PDF files that are created when you use the Print to PaperPort feature.

  1. Click on the PaperPort button, choose PaperPort options Changing the default image quality Options, and then click the Advanced tab.

  2. In the Advanced tab, select the image quality you want to use.

  3. Click OK.

To change the default image quality for Web Capture

Using PaperPort Options, you can change the default image quality for PaperPort Image (.max) files and PDF files that are created when you use the Web Capture feature.

  1. Click on the PaperPort button, choose PaperPort options Changing the default image quality Options, and then click the Advanced tab.

  2. In the Advanced tab, select the image quality you want to use.

  3. Click OK.

The Web Capture facility is not installed with PaperPort, but it is supplied in the program folder as a separate utility for use with Windows XP. A Help file is provided alongside the application.

Tips

To set the image quality for scanned items, in the Scan or Get Photo pane, click Settings, and then select the Output tab. The Options button is available whenever you select a valid file type.

To set the image quality when saving as item as a JPEG or PDF file, click Options in the Save As dialog box.
