To change the Print to PaperPort output format

You can specify PDF Image or PaperPort Image (.max) or PDF Searchable when you print to PaperPort with the PaperPort Image Printer print driver. The default is PDF Image.

  1. Click on the PaperPort button, choose PaperPort options Changing the Print to PaperPort output format Options, and then click the Item tab.

  2. Under PaperPort Image Printer file type, select the output format you want.

  3. Click OK.

Tip

In PaperPort Professional, you have an additional print driver: ScanSoft PDF Create! for converting text-based documents, such as Word files, to the PDF Formatted Text & Graphics (PDF Normal) format.
