Send To Options — SharePoint Link

A Microsoft SharePoint link makes it possible for you to transfer files between your local computer or networked locations and the SharePoint document management system. Using the linked SharePoint program in PaperPort, you can put files into a SharePoint site or get files from there. You can also view the contents of SharePoint site folders if you have the proper access rights.

Note that before you drop an item onto the SharePoint program icon on the Send To bar, you need to have the SharePoint site address, your user name at the site, and your access password.

Right-click the program icon and then click Send To Options to display the Send To Options dialog box. In the dialog box, you can set these default options:

  • Site Address — Enter the SharePoint site address you want to access. The easiest way to do this is to copy and paste the URL from your web browser.

  • Click the Test button to check the connection (optional).

  • Username — Enter your user name at the SharePoint site.

  • Password — Enter the password for accessing the site. You can make the program to remember your login information.

Tip:

The PDF Create included with PaperPort Professional 12 does not have direct SharePoint support. When PDF Create has generated PDF files you want to store in SharePoint, load them into PaperPort and use this link to send them there.
