About the PaperPort button

The PaperPort button is positioned in the upper left corner of all PaperPort user interfaces. It partially replaces the File menu of former PaperPort versions, with some limitations.

Click the PaperPort pp12 button About the PaperPort button PaperPort button in PaperPort Desktop view to perform the following tasks:

  • Create a new PaperPort folder or a new PaperPort Image item

  • Open the selected item according to settings on the PaperPort Options – Desktop tab

  • Save one or several items under other names, locations, file types (if applicable)

  • Import a copy of a file onto the PaperPort desktop

  • Send an item as an attachment to an e-mail message

  • Send an item to another program for processing

  • Specify attributes for printing

  • Print a desktop item

  • Display the PaperPort Options dialog box with a number of tabs to specify basic PaperPort settings in different environments

  • Exit PaperPort

Click the PaperPort pp12 button About the PaperPort button PaperPort button in PaperPort Image View to perform the following tasks:

  • Create a new PaperPort item

  • Open the item according to settings on the PaperPort Options – Desktop tab

  • Save changes made to the item

  • Save the item under another name, location, file type (if applicable)

  • Go to the PaperPort Desktop

  • Send an item as an attachment to an e-mail message

  • Send an item to another program for processing

  • Specify attributes for printing

  • Print the item

  • Display the PaperPort Options dialog box with a number of tabs to specify basic PaperPort settings in different environments

  • Exit PaperPort

Click the PaperPort pp12 button About the PaperPort button PaperPort button in the separate ImageViewer program to perform the following tasks:

  • Open the item according to settings on the PaperPort Options – Desktop tab

  • Save changes made to the item

  • Save the item under another name, location, file type (if applicable)

  • Send an item as an attachment to an e-mail message

  • Send an item to another program for processing

  • Specify attributes for printing

  • Print the item

  • Display the ImageViewer Options dialog box to specify basic settings

  • View and re-open recently used documents

  • Exit ImageViewer
