Applying Folder Notes

You can apply Folder Notes to all new incoming PDF or MAX items that arrive into a folder either by scanning or from DesktopDelivery.
 

To apply Folder Notes at scanning time

  1. On the Desktop ribbon, choose  PaperPort scan Applying Folder Notes Scan Settings to display the Scan or Get Photo pane.

  2. Click the Settings button to display the Settings – Scanning Profile dialog box.

  3. Click the Output tab.

  4. Select Automatically add keyword from Folder Notes.

Note

If the checkbox Automatically add keyword from Folder Notes is not selected, the Subject, Author and Keywords boxes will remain blank after scanning the item. You can enter values manually later at any time by clicking PaperPort item properties Applying Folder Notes Item Properties. Then on the Properties panel, enter the required values, and click Save.

To apply Folder Notes for DesktopDelivery

  • In the Folder Properties dialog box, turn on the Automatically add keywords from Folder Notes option.
