To create PaperPort Image items from text documents

The Print to PaperPort feature lets you quickly create new PaperPort Image (. max) files from existing spreadsheets, pictures, word processing files, HTML files, and other types of files.

From the PaperPort program

  1. Click on the PaperPort button, choose PaperPort options Creating PaperPort Images from text documents Options, and then click the Item tab.

  2. In the File type box, select PaperPort Image (.max).

  3. Click OK.

  4. Open the source program for your text document.

  5. On the File menu, click Print.

  6. In the Print dialog box, select PaperPort Image Printer from your list of available printers.
     

  7. Print the file.

    PaperPort will automatically convert the file to a PaperPort Image (.max) item, start PaperPort if it is not already open, and place the file as a new item on the PaperPort desktop.

Tip

 Choose PaperPort options Creating PaperPort Images from text documents Options from the PaperPort button drop-down list, and then click the Advanced tab to set the image quality for newly created PaperPort Image items.
