To zoom pages in and out

In Image View, you can zoom in to display the details of a page, or zoom out to make the page smaller on the screen.

To zoom a page:

  • On the View ribbon, repeatedly click PaperPort zoom in Zooming and changing the viewing size Zoom In or PaperPort zoom out Zooming and changing the viewing size Zoom Out respectively, to change the page size by about 5% on each click

— or —

  • Right-click the page and click Zoom In or Zoom Out from the shortcut menu for a single step zoom of about 5%.

Tips

To see the current magnification of a page, check the Status bar at the bottom of the Image View window.

You can also use Best Fit on the View menu to fit the page to the best possible size within the Image View window.


To optimally display a page in the Image View window

On the View ribbon, click PaperPort fit width Zooming and changing the viewing size Fit Width, PaperPort fit height Zooming and changing the viewing size Fit Height, PaperPort best fit Zooming and changing the viewing size Best Fit or PaperPort actual size Zooming and changing the viewing size Actual Size

Right-click the page and choose Fit Width, Fit Height, Best Fit or Actual Size from the shortcut menu.

 

Notes

The above settings are only valid until you view another page or toggle to desktop view. 

Annotations, if any, are also affected by zooming operations.
