To view files created by other programs

You may have received a file you cannot open because you do not have the originating program on your system.

PaperPort has built-in viewers that allow you to easily view files created in many popular programs. Copy a file to a PaperPort folder, and then select the item on the PaperPort desktop.

Choose PaperPort page Viewing files created by other programs Open with Image View on the Desktop ribbon. PaperPort displays the file in the Image View window, enabling you to see the content of the file.

Tip

Although the PaperPort next page Viewing files created by other programs Next Page and PaperPort previous page Viewing files created by other programs Previous Page buttons on the View ribbon are disabled, you can still navigate to different pages within the file. The method varies depending upon the file type. For example, when viewing a Word document, you can use the scroll bar to see the next page. When viewing a PowerPoint file, you can use the page controls located at the bottom left corner of the viewer window.
