Displaying names of multi-page items
In addition to the item name, you can specify a name for each page in a multi-page PaperPort Image (.max) item or a multi-page PDF.
For example, you might assign the name Annual Report to your multi-page PaperPort Image item, while actual pages in that item are named First Quarter Results, Second Quarter Results, and so on.
To display page names of multi-page items:
-
Click on the PaperPort button, choose Options, and then click the Desktop tab.
— or —
On the Desktop tab, choose Desktop Options.
-
Select Show page names of multi-page items to display the page name below the item name of a PaperPort Image item or a PDF file when in thumbnail view on the PaperPort desktop.
For example, you can display the name Annual Report above pages that are named First Quarter Results, Second Quarter Results, and so on.
-
Click OK.
Notes
On the PaperPort desktop, the name of the item is displayed above the current page name.
Page titles are always displayed in the Thumbnails pane (both Desktop and Image View); they cannot be turned off.
