File Type Options dialog box
Use this dialog box to specify image quality and OCR settings to be used for scanning with the current profile. Available settings depend on the selected file type. To display this dialog box, select Options on the Output panel of the Settings – Scanning Profile dialog box.
Image Quality
Select one of the following three options:
- Best Quality (larger file)

Better Quality (smaller file)
-
Good Quality (smallest file)
OCR Settings
Language – Select a language for text recognition. Language selection is important for accuracy.
Page Layout – Decide to retain the original layout of the document or get a single column output.
Graphics – Retain or discard graphics.
