New PaperPort Image Item
Access this by right-clicking on a blank space on the PaperPort desktop and selecting New > PaperPort Image Item, or by choosing it from the PaperPort button drop-down list.
In the New PaperPort Image Item dialog box, you can specify or change the default settings for your new PaperPort Image (.max) item.
A new PaperPort Image item can be useful as a blank page that you use to divide pages in a multi-page .max file.

In the Item name box, enter a name for your new PaperPort Image item.

Under Color, select Black-and-white, Grayscale, or Color.

Under Page Size, specify the width and height to use for the new item. If you want to change the units of measure, select it from the list.

In the Resolution box, specify the image resolution, measured in dots per inch ( dpi). The higher the resolution, the sharper the image. However, the higher the resolution, the larger the size of the image file on your computer.
