ScanDirect Options: PaperPort Strobe tab
Start ScanDirect from the Windows Start menu and click its icon 
on the left of its title bar to access these options.
Use the PaperPort Strobe tab to calibrate or set up a sheetfed scanner.

Calibration — Click this button if you want to calibrate your scanner. You should calibrate your scanner if the scans have poor quality or if a message tells you to calibrate.

Setup — Click this button to change the port to temporarily disable the scanner, or to reconnect the scanner.
Note
This tab is displayed only for certain types of scanners, and may not be needed for your configuration.
