What is ImageViewer?
ImageViewer is a PaperPort program that opens the Image View window separately from the PaperPort desktop. The program has its own program icon on your Windows Start menu.
You can set PaperPort options to always display the Image View window separate from the PaperPort desktop. The setting is useful because it lets you:
-
Open and display more than one item at a time so that you can view or edit multiple images simultaneously.
-
Display the PaperPort desktop at the same time as an item in the Image View window.
To start the ImageViewer program, on the Start menu, point to (All) Programs, then choose Nuance PaperPort, and then click ImageViewer.
PDF files are by default opened in a new PDF viewer. If you open a PDF file in ImageViewer it is opened as an image-only PDF.
Tip
To set options specific to ImageViewer, start ImageViewer from the Windows Start menu, then click the PaperPort button and choose Options. To set global options for the PaperPort program, display the PaperPort desktop, then click the PaperPort button and choose Options.
